Do It Now

The purpose of this blog is to encourage readers to be motivated to take better care of themselves. I firmly believe that whether you are 25 or 75 you can be Fit & Fabulous. Take a look at nature. Sure you may see many animals resting or taking a nap but you also see them moving. Should we be any different? I say no. The emphasis is on the word, moving so I suggest movement of any kind, and yes, diet plays an important part in being fit too. There is a saying; "Less input, more output," which basically means less food intake (especially as we age we don't burn off the calories as quickly as we did when we were younger) and to move more. The movement throughout the day should bring you pleasure or you won't have the desire to continue. This movement can be a simple walk first thing in the morning, or yoga, swimming, gardening, dancing, surfing, to name just a few.
